ooh, pretty colors

I used some of Blogger's new features to make my blog look a bit more obnoxiously red and purple, which, as you may know, is how I prefer everything in my life to be.

you know, you're going to have to teach me how to have a blog soon...i think once i move to eugene away from everyone (in THREE WEEKS, can you believe it!?) i'll need an easy way to keep in regular contact.

your last entry reminded me of willamette, once the sun and the baby duckies (remember ian saying "baby duckies" all cute?) came out, when everyone brought their homework to the side of the mill stream to "study" but all we really did was lay on blankets and listen to brian play guitar... those were good times! :)

Hmmm.... Purple and Red, and Green. It's like... hmmm a medow with violets & roses, yeah. Ok.

I hope DWE takes you out dancing when he gets back.

MJ- i know it's an old chestnut but it's true: a monkey could start a blog on blogger. and you're way, way, smarter than a monkey (not to mention lots of humans). go to "www.blogger.com" and if you can't figure it out from there, then you can ask me. and in the meantime you can eat a banana and have your brewer pick the bugs out of your hair.

Yeah, if you have the computer savy required to send an email - you can set up a blog. If you can't do it - call your Grandma Peggy - she's probably already got a blog!

she probably does! she is the only 82 year old grandma i have ever heard of that text-messages her grandkids from her cell phone!

matt and i on the other hand are in desperate need of a monkey. i got him an ipod for his birthday and i can't think of the last time we were as collectively frustrated as we have been all week. we can't make the songs we already have in it stay in it when he puts more songs in, we can't figure out how to get certain cd's in there without having to manually type everything in so it doesn't call the songs "track 01," "track 02," etc., and we just recently figured out how to disconnect the ipod without pissing it off.

ipods can be tricky with PCs. when it updates the ipod from itunes, it will put in all the songs that are in itunes, so if you have music that is on the ipod but isn't in itunes, it will get erased. as for cd track names, have you tried telling itunes to search for the track names? if you're connected to the internet it should do it automatically.

anyway, ipods are more complicated than blogger, i promise.

MJ- you have to be connected to the internet in order to not have to type in all the song titles!

thanks for the tips! there has to be a way not to lose all the songs, though. that sucks! i'm at work now and might start working on getting my blog up, as i am leaving in THREE WEEKS! :(
